We pride ourselves on offering a great quality menu using the freshest local ingredients wherever possible.

We’re passionate about using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and for over 40 years, we’ve been proud to feature Sark produce on our menus. Our wonderful local fishermen, farmers, and suppliers grow and harvest in small, sustainable quantities, ensuring the highest quality ingredients for our dishes. We’re truly grateful for their dedication, skill, and passion.

The stylish, oak panelled dining room provides a luxurious, candlelit dining atmosphere.

At the heart of our menus is a commitment to freshness, sustainability, and flavour. Fresh, local produce is grown just steps away in our own Permaculture gardens, where we cultivate seasonal ingredients in harmony with the natural environment.

This approach not only ensures exceptional quality and taste but also reflects our belief in responsible, local sourcing—bringing you dishes that are as thoughtful as they are delicious.

Food style

An elegant, fresh dining room deserves to be matched with an equally elegant and fresh menu. Our dinner menu explores wild caught seafood, succulent meat dishes, and stylish vegetarian plates.

Overview

The poolside Bistro and Bar offers a light, bright, airy & contemporary space for informal relaxing, and enjoying our simple all day residents bar menu.

Following feedback from our guests and with so many wonderful restaurants now available on Sark, we’ve decided to make our pool and bar area an exclusive space for Stocks Hotel resident guests.

Food style

We serve breakfast and our all-day bar menu either inside the Bistro or outside on the poolside terrace, allowing you to enjoy a meal in whatever setting suits you best.

Monday to Sunday
Breakfast (residents only): 7:30am – 10am

Drinks: 10am – 6pm

Food: 12pm – 4pm

Overview

Nestled in the oldest part of the main farmhouse, with charming original oak beams and white-washed stone walls, Smugglers Bar is the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and share stories after a day spent exploring the island.

We’re open from midday for light lunches for residents and non-residents, and again in the evening for pre-dinner drinks and aperitifs. It’s also a cosy place to enjoy coffee or after-dinner drinks by the fire.

Food style

Our bar menu boasts a delicious range of sandwiches & salads, sharing charcuterie plates featuring fresh local produce, as well as gorgeous buttermilk scones or Guernsey ice cream. Enjoy with one of our homemade local liqueurs for the perfect pub-lunch.

The Smugglers Bar at Stocks Hotel has given Alex the perfect opportunity to share his passion for whisky with our guests, expanding what was once just a collection filling up cupboards at home. We now offer around 100 single malts from Scotland and beyond, so there’s something for every whisky lover to enjoy.

Homemade Local Liqueurs.

Our unique range of Homemade local liqueurs is a great way to get the flavour of Sark. At Stocks we enjoy using as many local ingredients as we can find to make our own selection of local homemade liqueurs.

The ever-popular Sark Sloe Gin is a firm favourite, but we always have a selection of other delicious flavours with Blackberry gin and vodka being particularly warming on the long winters nights.
