Stocks Hotel is a high-quality luxury country house hotel on the Island of Sark. Owned privately by a local family the hotel re-opened in 2011 following a major refurbishment of the entire hotel, including the restaurant, poolside bistro and bar, and since that time has achieved its ranking of the top hotel on Sark, and the second hotel in the entire Channel Islands on Trip Advisor.
We have been awarded 4 AA silver stars and 3 rosettes in recent years and wwe were awarded Travellers Choice in the Trip Advisor top 10 small hotels. We managed to stay open almost all the way through the pandemic and are committed to our guests and staff, remaining open and providing the opportunity to visit the island and work year round.
If you are interested in working away and saving money for a summer, we offer 54 hours per week contracts that are live-in positions with accommodation, food, laundry all included.
Monthly tips make a welcome and sizable addition to salaries and it is a tax free salary!
The island is not big, but there is a great social life and activities during the busy season.These positions would ideally suit someone who is happy to make their own entertainment and integrate into the local community as well as worked in similar seasonal environments such as islands or ski resorts/chalets .
